It's only a shell of the great company that I joined a decade ago. Leadership cares virtually nothing about employees. They are going to bleed this company dry and sell it.
your direct manager greatly affects your success or failure
Things move slowly so have to be patient... extremely patient
medical insurance package is very good
cross-team relationship and mostly supportive of one another
the people and interactions that occurs
clear goals and Info sharing
they share the same voice
work time flexibility to take care of personal matters
team helps out when needed
welcoming, warm, food, fun events
flexibility to expand one's knowledge
Flexibility to explore technology advances for self, team, & dept
Overall company culture is extremely good - promotes fun & awareness of other cultures
General communication are rare amongst peers. I've been in this team for 3 years and I still feel alone...
What culture? That went out the door with the Founder, prior CEO and leadership as they are the ones that built the company that is being destroyed by current CEO.
Depends on which "coworkers" you're asking about. Many of my coworkers do nothing but look for reasons to justify their jobs. However, some truly care about each other and our customers.
We are now in acquisition mode buying companies and doing nothing but raising prices. Many customers truly dislike Imprivata because all we do is raise prices, etc. and give customers no warning. Leadership makes conscious decisions not to inform customers of changes (ie. Move to Premium support)
Where to start... Know it all micro-mgmt CEO surrounds himself with "yes men/women" that gets rid of anyone that challenges him. He's steers a 3B valuated company but has the time to sit on every sales forecast, training session and QBR. He's single handedly driven +50% of all field sales away.
Many of us have been here over a decade and are the ones that built the foundation of this company that current leadership is piggy-backing off of. They all pay themselves bonuses, etc. that we achieve for them...while those of us doing the frontline work haven't received even a basic raise in yrs.
