I feel great to have a company always looking to improve relations with employees. The only thing is the pay because with our position you need to be available most of the day and into the evenings answering emails, getting updates and making sure schedules are followed and ready.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have had some highs and lows. I like the job i do and see the results of my work everyday. I just find there needs to be different pay for superintendents on accordance to the levels of work load, effecienty, knowledge and minimal guidance needed.

Everyone seems to be very friendly.

The envirnment is pretty easy going.

Closing a house and seeing it ready to be leased on time and under budget

I like the freedom I have to plan my day to day and get my work completed.

I like that i have the freedom to have control of my start times and freedom to take charge.

Taking a house that was in rough shape and seeing the finish product that you did the bid, scheduled subs and finally took the closing pictures.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel where we live the cost of living is very high. We are expected to finish large scopes in unrealistic time and sometimes have to do many in one day. Also we have to try and keep the budget low and still get good service from our gc’s. Cons
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel like our individual talents are seen. We are wrapped in with all so cal superintendents and some are better and faster and all you get out of that is more work load and more responsibilty to have with the same pay. The job is not just from when i leave the house and return home.
