Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe, based on comparable available positions, that my base pay is a little bit under market, particularly in light of the number of years I've been achieving great results in my position.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My direct team is committed and dedicated to excellent work, and is genuinely nice to each other. Kindness and appreciation for each other and our differences is so important - and my team shows these qualities often.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the opportunities to connect and problem solve with people outside of my immediate team, across the country and in other departments. I also love when the team sounds happy, laughing with each other. It feels healthy.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have the advantage of many highly motivated and capable people supporting us and our operations. Having worked in several property management companies I can say that our corporate teams (accounting, marketing, etc) are the most customer service oriented teams I've ever worked with.
