Absolutely. Standards are put in place and then broken based on relationships not merit.

Johnson Controls promotes employees to meet targets for diversity and inclusion, not on merit.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Sole focus of the company is to drive share price and look good in the press. Treat employees fairly and with respect.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The executive team talks about customer focus and I believe they feel action is being taken. The reality is much different as the lack of systems, processes, communications, accountability in ALL corporate functions is lacking.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Engage employees and understand the impact executive decisions have downstream. Fix the infrastructure. Global functions like Marketing are useless as they do not understand or engage the business. They only engage to deliver edicts - no support.
