Communication, respect, failure to reporting hr related incidents, not making a safe environment for bigotry.

When people are genuinely kind rather than berating or condescending, or using slurs or the wrong pronouns.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Clearly these young folk I work with need a reality check or some training in respecting people because it's absurd the amount of slurs I hear is wrong. I'm not worried about cussing if not with a customer but use of slurs is disrespectful. Also I'm seeking housing my manager called me a bum.
