What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Motivation and vision. I think our company mission statement is good, but I don't think we do a good job of using it to motivate our work. As for vision, I often don't have a good sense of what's coming down the pipe or getting feedback on what we should be thinking about for the future.

Delegating the definition of implementation-details in favor of better communication around goals, priorities, and definitions of success.

Faithlife could be more intentional about how they promote managers, throwing someone into a management position with no training and viewing managers as things that "get in the way" hurts company culture and leads to messy projects and unhappy employees.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better family medical: 100% medical, dental, vision coverage for the whole family. Better 401k matching: 1-to-1 without a top end limit. Financial incentive to work, eat, live "healthy". Yes, I know that's ambiguous.

The organization often has many different initiatives running simultaneously, I'd like to see strategy communicated to us individual contributors and company as a whole more often.

The culture is actually pretty good and overall quite positive, especially because many of the employees live by Christian values.
