My interview was years ago. Now the qualification is you just have to be a warm body.

Employees that have been their for years all enjoy interacting with customers. They all enjoy their jobs and are respectful of their associates.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management does not manage. The store is often the messiness place you will be all day and managers don't even know. Direction to new employees is nonexistent after they complete training and are put on the floor.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Years of experience making sure the department I work in is taken care of according to all procedures and policies. New hires with no experience and less ambition to learn have been started at higher pay than senior employees are getting. This causes animosity and I'll will.
