There is very little interaction with my manager. He pays no attention to the support side of things only the sales team.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Some of my peers are great and I enjoy working with them while others do not pull their weight and the rest of the team suffers.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It's extremely negative. With all of store closures and layoffs the atmosphere is very negative and the company does very little to dissuade the fears of the team. And the VPSM is the not at all competant.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am looking for another job and will leave as soon as I find one. I I'm so disappointed in Macy's their treatment of their Associates and how they're still worried about paying for parades and things like that but they can't compensate their employees fairly.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am a Support executive at Macy's and I am not compensated fairly at all. The role I fill is extremely demanding and stressful and my pay compared to sales executives is far less. This is very unfair. I get no bonuses when sales goals are met yet my scorecaref and raise are based on these numbers.
