What does the leadership team need to get better at?

They need to learn what motivates their employees, the company needs to stop closing stores and leaving good hardworking people without jobs. Attract millennials by catering towards the younger crowd. Bring in the brands that people enjoy. Advertise on social media sites.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Being paid fairly, working in loss prevention at this company you are looked at as a leader. Associates and managers call loss prevention whenever there’s an issue. We also put our lives in the line each time we stop a shoplifter. I’ve stopped gang members, att. Murderers, and drug addicts for $10hr

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Motivate employees, pay them better there’s no reason that I should work 7 years in suburban Philadelphia and only receive a $2 pay increase in that amount of time. I the go to work at another Macy’s in central nj at the same rate. A 18 yr old without loss prevention experience starts at $13.25.
