Communication is needed to improve

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

More encouragement is needed. The critics is always focused on the negative and what we’re not doing right instead of saying what we have improved on. The positives and negatives should be equally represented

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel the company takes advantage of its employees, especially recently with laying off valued people and forcing the remaining workers to pick up the slack of the employees that were let go without giving them any compensation for the added workload.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Fairer wages and more job openings would help the company run more efficiently. You need more people in your stores, you can’t just keep cutting staff and expect the few people that do work there to run the entire store on their own and have happy and satisfied customers
