fast paced, stressful , overwhelming, tiring

What did you like most about the interview process?

was quick but HR wasnt helpful in explaining hiring process at all

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

summer fridays and ability to work from home which also often times is being looked upon

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

stop micromanaging people and give them freedom to express their ideas. In many cases ideas are not valued if they are not coming from above.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The reason why i am not happy with going into work is because of my boss. My manager is always negative, always complaining and doesnt know how to run business or communicate with people

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

College students getting into EDP programs at Macys get much higher pay then those who already worked in the company. Not only that the assistant buyers/planners have to teach EDP's the annual salary raise is only 3% and that does not even cover inflation rates.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

There is no effort to listen. Only the upper managers voices are being heard. My boss is terrible and upper management does not see that one person is making the whole team feel negative and unmotivated. Many people thinking of quitting because of them. Also not fair pay based on the amount of work
