What did you like most about the interview process?

Easy, simple, scripted, behavioral based expected questions.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leading by example. Demonstrate solid, consistent, mirror behaviors. Incorporate Hospitality Principles, Culture and Behaviors reflective of hotel culture on the level of Ritz Carlton; the Gold Standard. You cannot flap your lips and expect a culture of Customer Service. BE about it EVERY DAY!!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay a livable wage to all employees. The company makes incredible profile. Trickle down that wealth to support those who helped make the company it's money! Management is bonused off the backs of poorly compensated front-line associated. Inequity is the hallmark of uncaring corporate model.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Treating each other with respect!! Seasoned/Senior employees are jaded and elitist and snobby. They're unwilling to help and support newer colleagues reminiscing on by-gone days instead of building on supporting the next generation. Pass on the knowledge. Don't hoard it only to complain and lament.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The entire culture! You cannot want change without being a positive change agent. Inculturation, drive, inclusive goal setting, mentoring and role modeling are necessary. Leading by example, training, education and effective communication have to be alive and active and not just on a wish list.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Lack of genuine, emgaged, creative, innovative, dynamic, inspiring leadership. BE the change you wish to see. It's NOT enough to talk, chart, meet, and talk goals if there is no heart and soul committment from the whole of the organization to effect and affect change. Lip service is a waste of time.
