What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership needs to come together as it's own team. Intiatives need to have clear goals. We have managers because of attrition not because of their leadership skills.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Retirement and Health Benefits are great along with the ability for a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Benefits are great at MATC, but it would be nice to have an open enrollment for the life insurance that the college offers when you're hired. Changes happen in life and when you're at the same employer for a while the decisions made previously may not fit the needs of your current life/needs.

I tried to sign up for classes -- A perk of being hired .. Almost impossible. If it's this difficult for an employee, MATC students see that too.

Positivity and supportive nature. Many resources to help us succeed.

A diversity of services supported by students that anyone can take part in (bakery, Dental Clinic and Salon as some examples).

What makes you most happy at work?
Balance. Ability to work from home some days to focus on grading, lesson planning, and development. Ability to work at school and interact with students on some days of the week (and virtually some days at home).

the Bureaucratic pace means there's no investment in getting things done. again -- if we see this -- so do the students.
