If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at McDonald's?

Fix the POS system and actually allow food to be ordered that is on the menu.
Pay men and women equally....
I would hire more people so that we don't have to cover for each other. I would also improve the attitude of some people.
What part of McDonald's's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
The difficulties is keeping the place clean and things running. I would try to make customers happy and not make them mad. The part that is growing the fastest would be getting food out quickly and timely and getting times down.
fresh meat products are best. Kiosk are not doing well

The work life balance at McDonald's is pretty crazy. I do try to help out where and when I can while getting my job done.
Hard especially if you work 4 a 24 hour store. And /or you are a known calling worker. Exp. Always willing to work extra shifts, sometimes even at other stores.

What's the interview process like at McDonald's?
The company I worked for held open interviews on Mondays 3-5 every week. I sat down with every applicant. I asked some basic questions. Enough to get a feel for each person. A lot of them were teens looking for their first job. Most of the time I decided right then whether or not to hire them. If I did I sent them links to e-verify and set them up with a date for orientation.
I'm not so sure of it now, but when I got hired 6 years ago it was really easy. I had applied, and when able to I had an interview. I went in and had the interview with the store manager and that day I got hired. I talked to somebody on the phone and then we went over some things and we were done.

Would you describe the general attitude of the people you work with as positive or negative? Why?
I would have to describe it as kind of both, it does mainly depend on the day and the general attitude of the workers. Most days are positive and some others are negative.
Mostly positive very seldom have a bad day. Negativity is frowned upon
negative, they are mostly lazy kids

Not bad. I learned how to talk on headset and take money/directions from customers.
My overall experience for an interview at McDonald's was nerve racking, but was relieved when I was hired on the spot.

The hiring manager/people department manager. Not too long right away If you get the interview.
I applied at 15, had an injury, wasn't allowed to work. As soon as I was able to I had an interview and got hired the same day.

Anybody who like to work fast and attend people's needs. Be patient and have a good head to see the bigger picture.

They can totally improve the cleaning and manners. The CEO and the main people in charge are pretty amazing.

honestly they didnt ask me much the last time i was interviewed, but i have many years of experience
