No stock options/RSUs, no reasonable merit increase percentages, no budget for team building activities, no budget for wellness.

Invest in people and benefits. Medallia used to have an amazing culture that has vanished since all that matters is profitability.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Most SaaS companies of the same size and reputation offer incredible benefits such as health and education stipends, offsite, swag, and team-building activities. Nothing like that is happening in Medallia.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Start listening to employees instead of making decisions in a vacuum. Stop cutting costs and hire people where the talent really is, give a wellness stipend, open offices back again in places where people can actually attend
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some of the people and the office, which is being drastically reduced and moved far away, resulting in fewer colleagues attending and a sub-par experience. This decision was made in a vacuum by the legal team which didn't even care about how this would affect us and never looked for an alternative
