I've moved from individual contributor to first line manager to second line manager in short (5 years) amount of time. I always wanted to move into leadership, but it wasn't until Medallia that I was given a path to get there and a timeline that made sense.

The opportunity for open, collaborative feedback and suggestions the executive team is open to - taking employee ideas like tuition reimbursement, new business angles, etc. from concept to action.

Seeing what amazing things the people on my team and the people I work with think to take on and accomplish - specifically, the HACK DAYS we plan each quarter!

Fierce believe in collaboration and helping each other, and asking others for help. They are both always up for supporting each other and share what they do that is working well.

I feel like I have great friends at work who are comfortable to bring their whole selves, a sense of humor, and confidence to speak their mind / tell truth to power when something is off / bothering them.

Paid time off outside of standard PTO policies - sabbatical for tenured employees, quarterly mental health days, meeting-free Friday, company-wide end of year shut down. Giving teams time to be productive with their own judgement and protecting time for quality breaks.

CEO openness to receive and act on question / ideas / innovations. Often times when asked a question or emailed a recommendation, not only will a response be given but Leslie will include someone into the thread who can probably help take it to the next level.
