Medallia has helped me grow both professionally and personally. I have had an opportunity to work side-by-side with many amazing people and clients, and it has kept me engaged for 10+ years.

Doing creative new things with our customers, and with my team

I love getting to interact with our clients. We work with really interesting companies, and I learn a lot by hearing their challenges and problem solving with them.

I believe my pay is competitive, plus we have quite flexible vacation policies and work-from-home policies. We also have a great sabbatical program that is available starting at 5 years of service.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People really love collaborating, and we are flexible about structuring teams differently depending on the project. Not so stuck on formal roles and responsibilities, which helps keep me engaged doing new and different things.

The Medallians I have worked with over the years are all very creative and love to try new things. I have learned just as much from my peers and my direct reports as I have from my managers.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team is honest and transparent about what they think. I love that level of open dialogue, even on tricky topics. They were pretty creative about how to keep us all engaged during COVID too (e.g. interesting guest speaker series for employees).

Our leadership team really focuses on taking action based on employee feedback. I have worked at many other companies where they "said" they would take action; but at Medallia, I have seen it happen many times over the 10+ years I have been at the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The leadership team has done a great job during COVID bringing in interesting guest speakers and virtual opportunities to network and connect with other Medallians. This has been a good way to sustain my favorite part of the culture, which is team-oriented learning and problem-solving for clients.
