It used to be so much better. We lost sight of our core values that made us successful. We over hire and then over fire.

Raises can't continue to be well below inflation.

Work ethic, team players, diverse backgrounds.

There is still diversity in leadership.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Despite promotions and good reviews, comp increases trail inflation.

There are a lot of really smart talented people.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Too many are demoralized, burned out, checked out, and quiet quit two years ago.

What are some of the best things about your team?

There are a lot of really smart talented people. Unfortunately they are quickly taking jobs in other places.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Smart, hard working people. I really liked that Embrace Diversity was a core value but it isn't anymore.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay scale shouldn't be based on where you lived before the pandemic. Get employee input before changing health benefits.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Many coworkers are disengaged and want to leave. This makes it even harder on those trying to do a good job.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

We do these surveys, the results are pretty accurate but then the corrective plans are not in line with with the conclusions.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Bring 401k match in line with competition. Stop changing benefits constantly with no advance notice. This causes severe interruptions in care.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We can't innovate when constantly in triage mode. Without time to be curious and experimental all we do is put out fires.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Setting clear direction to meet customer needs instead of pet projects. Eliminate a lot of middle managers that only poll for status. Centralize status collection.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Promises by leadership are consistently not fulfilled. No apparent course corrections after blunders were made. No mechanism to provide feedback on leadership besides direct manager.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We need to celebrate success even a little bit. All of the recognition systems were dismantled. We only hear the negative day in and day out.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

When they ask for feedback, they don't want feedback, they want affirmation of the conclusions they already made. Accept feedback, don't turn it into a debate to prove ICs are wrong.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We see our external job openings paying well above what we earn. Last few review cycles yielded very poor pay or equity rewards. Review system is 100% opaque and completely subjective.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We can't completely change direction every week. Need to pick a direction and commit to not changing it for a quarter. Leadership needs to commit to a clear roadmap and not try to pivot constantly.
