They have their favorites and let them run the show. They need to be better at investing in the rank-and-file employees who keep the business running. I feel expendable here. No one understands what it takes to be successful at my job, and when I try to educate them on that, I don't feel heard.

You see the inflation; it's not easy to manage everything on a couple of dollars. As much as I love my job and the company, I'm not satisfied with the compensation rate. There should be an increase.

I don't think it's understood what my department does or what it takes to perform our jobs. Much of my work is dictated by others. My knowledge is being wasted because of it. Understand the skills of your team and give them the authority to say no to time-wasting or low-value work.
