Everything changed after 3 months of being hired. Reporting structures, books of business, etc. Change is inevitable, but how that change is communicated and actually executed could be better at Motive. I have gotten used to change, and generally enjoy working here. I believe in our product.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Uncapped commissions, great base salary.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like to build relationships with my customers and demonstrate the great partnership Motive can have with them.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparency, energy, and enthusiasm about the current state of and future of Motive. It's awesome to have leaders who truly believe in our product and the benefits it can bring to our customers.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Less threatening about PIPs. We get that if we don't get our numbers, we'll be put on a Performance Plan. But from day 1, I have been threatened with PIPs... even before onboarding.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Many people are in different stages of their tenure at Motive. Some people are just starting and don't have as much as experience as others who have been here a few years- which often causes a divide.
