They're hilarious. They real everyday people. They're extremely hardworking and talented. They show me respect.
How close knit the team feels. But honestly, its because of our own effort. There should be more emphasis on culture at the company level.
Recognition for good work. Work I can be excited to dive into. Days where I can actually get work done and not be bogged down with meetings.
I enjoy their balance between professionalism and normalcy. I also appreciate their willingness to unblock blockers and hear opinions from ICs. They're really dedicated to process improvement.
In this economy, I'm grateful to have a healthy compensation. However, on the flipside, life is so expensive these days. It feels like even with a "decent" salary, it doesn't feel like enough. Also, in previous jobs, I've had much more interesting benefits, like egg freezing, sabbaticals or travel.
