I used to love working for this company. I do not anymore.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are all long-term employees who have weathered bad managers, bad policies, and bad conditions, and we can laugh about it.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Treating this company of long-term employees like responsible adults. Recognizing and rewarding the hard work we did during Covid and the hard work we continue to do.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

There's not much now. It used to be very positive, but everyone I work with resents the mandatory return to the office and the draconian HR policies put in place around it.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We had much more flexibility to manage our lives and get our jobs done before the 'Guardian Flex' policy was handed down. Ask the employees how they feel about it. Treat us like the responsible adults we are. Treat managers like managers.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We don't get raises; we get cost of living adjustments that don't cover the increase in cost of living. A bonus is nice, but base salary increases are better. And being forced back into the office increases the impact of inflation - gas, clothing, food - and underscores how the company doesn't value
