Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I have worked here for a long time. We used to do promotions and have career paths for advancement, but then we were acquired by NETSCOUT, and those things dried up. Now we have no future vision, a chaotic roadmap, and stagnation over the last few years.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Career paths, and articulating a clear vision.

What makes you most happy at work?

Solving problems for real users.

What makes you most happy at work?

I get compelling projects to work on every day, and resources to learn and improve my skills.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We're always growing and learning. High respect for each other and curiosity, and I'm able to be vulnerable and admit that I don't know how to do something.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The package of RSUs is generous, however they mature at the same time of the year, it would be great if they could be spread out a bit more.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Smart people, hard working with a laid-back attitude. We're striving for excellence while at the same time open to vulnerability - anyone can ask any question and continue to be respected.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Frankly, the corporate leadership team is uninspiring. However, my local leadership team understands how to connect people with our place in the larger organization and how our current work is making a difference.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have not received a promotion or substantial raise in nearly a decade despite continuously receiving glowing performance reviews. Our division hasn't hired a new full-time employee in several years despite being the sole source of income growth in the company.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We're always learning, always facing new challenges. I can go to anyone on my team and ask for help, and I'll never be judged. For the most part, we make decisions based on the merit of the idea and not the rank of the person making the proposal.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Anyone can contribute a great idea and if it is convincing, it will get picked up. You don't need to be the highest-paid person in the room to be heard. If something isn't going well, people are prepared to talk about it, and to consider ways that we could make things better.
