I was already underpaid for my entry position and my gm lied to me about what my pay rate would increase to if I accepted a lead position he offered me. I'm a lead and new hires make more than I do. The only thing my gm has to say when I ask is I have to prove myself but he hasn't even trained me

We provide service to the back bone of our nation, truckers.

We could actually HAVE one of these teem meetings that always get canceled and never rescheduled

When I resolve a concern or problem a driver hasn't been able to get anyone else from my store to even act like they care about
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I make less than new hires of lower positions and am expected to do things I haven't been trained or given instructions on how to do
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Training properly, using the pilot way of operation and execution, leading by doing, positive reinforcement to staff, teach the team how to do what he keeps complaining about they don't do right instead of telling them to figure it out, and stop the threat and negative attacks
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Actually interview the prospect not just cancel and tell them what time to be at work. They should be well informed and understand what to prepare to be doing on their first week at work not just thrown in for the team to loose time away from tasks to redirect ineffectively
