I love working in events and for a long time I loved working at Reed but the lack of recognition, financial growth, career opportunities and chaotic product development has made it difficult to grow at RX.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are local and we can meet in the same timezone.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I haven't receive a bonus, pay adjust/increase or even a title change in almost 3 years despite having glowing reviews from my manager and my peers.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Focusing on the basics rather than spreading an already stretched core staff in so many directions. We still haven't completely rolled out products before we start working on new projects.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
More consistent in projects and direction. Better buy in from executive on projects proposed by product team and less pressure to roll out more stuff for the sake of rolling out stuff.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Globalized GTECH work hours are not optimal for getting the best work out of people. We have meetings from 630am to 1130am with little room to actually work in the mornings and then there is an expectation of working long afternoons to complete projects. Very unsustainable.
