It's a joy being able to put on events for fans. Our conventions are one place where nerds can feel accepted. The speed of each show's occurrences and the pressure of ticket sales for such a small team is a lot, especially with the unfair pay. But the people make it worthwhile.

The creativity, kindness, and thoughtfulness of the people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is supportive, caring, and capable. Working with them is the reason I stay.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to implement new ideas and feeling like my contributions are valued and heard.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I'm not sure if this means my direct manager, but my manager is very supportive and does all she can to support her team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The cost of living is unaffordable in California with my current pay and the lack of career mobility at this company. I'd feel better if my pay were higher.
