Shopify: First 2 years were amazing, and I was able to grow as a person in ways I've never imagined possible. It is a great company to work at, the culture is great, and the people are just awesome. The "startup" culture and way of working is long gone though. But it is still a great place.

The Home Depot: Knowing the work we do with merchandising makes a difference to the customers the stores and the vendors and knowing that those efforts done properly will result in profit which goes towards our bonus every 6 months. Extra income and we get to literally help everyone!

However, senior level leadership is out of touch with day to day goings-on and forgot the lower level employees carry the business. Pay increases are slow, mismanagement has caused a lot of great people to lose their jobs.

Red Lobster: I don't feel like there was any support for a new manager. My store was 4 hours from the next store in my district. Very secluded and pretty much left to fend for myself.
