Horrible company to work for. They don't care about the employees. Upper management treats non management like they're dirt. The high turn over speaks volumes. The union is as much of a joke as the company and its HR department. Go work for Costco if grocery is your gig, but steer clear of this one.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The workers stick together. Management does very little
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Treating employees fairly. Favortisim and nepotism has long been known issues. It still runs rampant
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A fair living wage. Making enough money to purchase the groceries I sell. Our wages are insulting. Fast food workers make more and yet we're "union."
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
International understaffing to line the pockets of those that do very little work needs to stop. Pay the employees who do the work a living wage
What are some of the best things about your team?
The work horses, underpaid, under appreciated, seem to care more about one another genuinely. Management only cares about us lining their pockets and inflating the bonuses we run ourselves into the ground for.
