What does the leadership team need to get better at?

talking to subordinates appropriately and treating them with dignity and respect. Workers need full-time jobs with a real living wage that neither the corporation or the union assists in providing. The vibe is very oppressive.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Stop promoting the Safeway lifers! There is a reason they spent 35+ years NOT in management they aren't capable of leading. Actually listen to your employees and customers. Often it feels like corporates never step foot in the store.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

They should provide full-time employment for more employees.. Retaliatory incidents occur when employees called out sick, brought a doctor's note and gets their hours the following week cut to the minimum. This also happens if they ask employees to work extra and employee says no. OPPRESIVE
