Flexibility with scheduling around my family needs
I like that interviews are face to face.
My location does have a very strong team that bands together no matter what is going on to have each others back.
When I am able to accomplish tasks on time with the support of my peers and Management team. It makes me feel like everyone is doing their part for shared success.
It happens less and less but when Safeway takes time to recognize and reward stores and crews for a job well done the morale goes through the roof and everyone is a lot more productive and happy.
As a Department Manager and an efficient/ethical worker, I feel I am underpaid as I make the same amount as someone with a no responsibilities with no chance of earning any type of obtainable bonus. If there is no chance at a higher pay rate I should qualify to earn a bonus through results.
