Laid back and chill. Very easy to get into, they don't ask for much from new hires when they just need the bodies.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Having the days off I want, even months in advance preparation and letting them know is not enough. It's crazy, I should really go back to school and enter some office desk job. At least they have vacations on the times requested, this is just ridiculous
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are chill people. I can't say the same for all sorts of people, but im lucky I have the crew that I have, they know what they're doing, they will help out, you really have to find just one other co-worker and it makes the world of a difference.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
You can't get the days off that you need. Nadda. I let the management team (who could either by your direct department manager or the store director,) know ahead of time what days I needed off and zilch, nothing. Vacation forms easily accessible by employees would be great + COMMUNICATION
