I feel it is poorly managed. Never enough employees to make it a smooth running business. They do "cold go backs" which are gross. Those are taking food items people changed their mind with and return them to the sales floor without even checking temperatures. I have been ill from it twice.

very diversified environment, many people are bilingual

most employees care although they are stressed out.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
communication, honesty, instead of stressing employees out daily, have 1 or 2 more working.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
I would not be conducting interviews in the cafe surrounded by customers. I would take people into another room for the interview so personal questions can remain personal
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is so much pressure to get certain things done, yet no one will help you do them. Management asks you what you need. You tell them only to have it fall on deaf ears.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
there are never enough cashiers. They pull from other departments daily for long periods then complain those departments did not get their work done. They need to have more cashiers working so they are not running short during breaks and meal times
