Samsung does not offer stocks, so bonus rates should be higher.

Salary is not that high for the price in bay area. And I believe main R&D team and key engineer should be recognized more than now in terms of salary and perks.

As there is no stock and my alumni in the area is getting total compensation 1.5 times of mine.. If you do not want to give us stock, then you should give cash bonus. It is not competitive for SSI to cut bonus on top of fact they do not give stocks.

Everybody works on their own without any common goals. The technical quality of the team is very poor. Both are the result of poor management leadership and consistent bad decisions.

Improve compensation to retain talent. Give incentives to the most talented people so that their contributions appear appreciated and are properly rewarded. Leadership needs to step up and completely shift the culture. This will be very hard at this stage after so many years of bad management.

1. Need clearly laid out tasks and deadlines. Managers should communicate clearly the goals for the projects and how the higher management is responding to the team's progress. 2. For non-SJ sites, there should be lunchtime culture or hobby room in office for people to connect in lunch or afterhour

DSK team has really strict and inflexible culture, so communication with the teams and collaboration is super hard. We should have their culture changed.

Leaders do not want us working from home and explicitly discouraging working from home not because of business needs but personal preference on work style.

all of the sudden too much pressure, very little flexibility. I am expected to work extra hours but in the last years my bonus was cut because of company performance. At the same time the company is not flexible with their policies.
