How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at Sears?

Sears used to be a great company to work for. However with all the financial issues it has became a very stressful environment.

What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at Sears? How many hours are you working?
Usualy its 60 hours until the Christmas season which is approximately 80 hours.
About 50 hours but it's all good when you have a great team.
Used to do 30-40 now down to 12-18!

Currently they just try to survive and jumping ship as quickly as they find other opportunities.
Honest, dependable, and fast
Head stuck in sand. Needs reality check. Only worried about how to earn more money from Citibank by opening new accounts... never mind that they don't have merchandise to sell??? Payroll hours cut so badly the store is horribly understaffed & the condition of the store shows it! Messy dirty & unmanned departments. Very unsafe.

Sales at Sears are not the problem. Sears is failing because of a incompetent CEO Eddie Lambert who has no clue how retail works. Ex. Hired the guy that ruined Toys R Us to help Sears with sales. What a joke.

use to work for Sears from 1979-2017 and depending where I was working at the time,it was find but at other times it wasn't

Not concerned about customer service or satisfaction. All about sales and profits. No one is safe job wise
