Snap Finance Claimed Company
Since 2012, Snap has been on a mission to bring flexible, pay-over-time financing options to all consumers. Our retail partners told us that many of their customers couldn’t qualify for traditional credit, causing embarrassment and leaving them with no way to buy the items they want and need for their families. This gap also left our retail partners with missed opportunities. At Snap, we’ve harnessed the power of data to empower customers of all credit types and to help retailers close more sales. Our technology brings together machine learning, non-traditional risk variables, and years of data to create a proprietary decisioning platform. The result is financing that looks at each customer through a more holistic, human lens. We’re proud to serve the 40% of U.S. consumers who are building or rebuilding their credit. Our fast, flexible pay-over-time solutions are changing the face and the pace of consumer retail finance. And we’re hiring! read more

We get along and work well together

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Cost of living does NOT match compensation

What makes you most happy at work?

I like my team and manager

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I really enjoy Snap Finance

What do you like best about the leadership team?

That they are present. I feel like I can approach anyone

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I was hired by the same leadership that I currently work for. We all took different paths in our Snap careers, but somehow we have all reunited.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I believe my pay is sufficient, however, compared to others in my field, my pay is less. It works for now, but I'm not sure about long term.

What makes you most happy at work?

I love that I work remote. I find going into the office more distracting that productive, however, it is necessary. That said, I do look forward to seeing people in person.

What are some of the best things about your team?

I know I'm blessed. I really love my tight team, but I also have the added benefit of working with other teams 1:1. I do look forward to seeing my peers, even just on Teams. They bring me positive energy.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

My department looks for the good in others. We are inclusive and transparent. We celebrate each others wins and encourage each other to succeed. We do this on a team and department level. Also, my manager and director lead by example.

What makes you most happy at work?

I have a niche position that allows me to do MANY different things. I love that I am not on a set path, but my day to day varies depending on workload and small daily fires that need to be addressed.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My leadership team is aware of my strengths and weaknesses. They work hand in hand with me to make sure that I can perform, not only to what is expected, but also to achieve my true potential. This applies to my manager and director.

What are some of the best things about your team?

I'm fortunate to be a part of a phenomenal tam. I am confident in the capabilities of each of my team members and can trust that when one of us needs help, others will jump in willingly to make sure we are successful. I've seen it happen first hand. My team fosters this supportive relationship.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compared to the rest of the United States, I am not paid fairly, and with the cost of living in SLC going up, I'm quickly being underpaid even in my own city. This hasn't always been the case. Benefits, it's probably the way we access them, but it's too difficult and jump through hoops
