I was not told the sick days policy, the floors in the kitchen are constantly covered with dish water, the drainage system is open air, we are constantly short staffed, the managers send home anyone who is cleaning the back, there's mold and worms at the dishwashing station, and coworkers come sick

The max wage is $15/hr, this is not enough to live on

I have been cornered into religion talk by a coworker before, my manager has scheduled me for days and then cancelled me, I don't get consistent hours, there Is minimal communication about scheduling
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Specialize your workforce, have people whose main job is cleaning, or prep, or dishes, cleaning especially, if you are going to send me home for trying to clean the floors, hire a janitor! This is not food safe
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We are always running out of bread for sandwiches, as the store is opened by one person alone, there is too much to do for them to handle, the bread and the sodas do not get prepped all the time, and the bathrooms run out of toilet paper and towels often
