A roller coaster. Only recently have I become dissatisfied as a whole. Overall, I am learning a lot, challenging myself every day, and paying my bills. I have grown increasingly disheartened as my efforts to go beyond what it is expected have not produced any results beyond verbal recognition.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Working from home and not being micro-managed.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very well-spoken people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is great and we talk freely to each other. We know about each other's pets/dislikes/favorite foods and we are eager to help each other on a daily basis.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We need to be paid for our value. If someone is knowledgeable about our product and bringing a lot of value to the team, then they should be paid accordingly, whether they are in the commercial/operations/or any other team. We do not have enough support to handle all the internal questions....
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I had a disturbing conversation with my friends this weekend, and found out I am the lowest paid person in my friend group. I am as qualified as all of my friends (if not more), and know that I work as hard as they do. More money would make me feel better.
