What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love that my management team keeps us up-to-date on all the changes from the very top. The communication is always there and if we have a question then it is answered promptly. Communication was lacking at previous companies and something I appreciate from my team here at Change!

What is the best part about your compensation package?
My above market salary and ability to obtain merit based bonuses.

The compensation package is great because the harder we work the better our pay becomes. The amount of loans needed to close is obtainable, unlike some companies I hear about where the goal is so unobtainable that it doesn't matter how great the comp plan is, but here, we can hit that goal!

How many days I am provided for vacation.

It used to be the bonus plan but with volume being low it hasnt been as good as in the past. We appear to have a concentration on Jumbo and Alt A and non QM product.

What are some of the best things about your team?
We work collaboratively - no idea is too big or too small. Everyone is working towards the same goals!

This team is great because we are always there for each other! Whether someone is out sick or taking vacation, we can always count on our team to step up and help out. Also, the team members are a lot of fun to talk to on a personal level, not just always work which is nice.

Should work together to make everyone succeed. There is a competition between some employees and lack of shared knowledge and camaraderie.

Flexible work arrangements when you need them, collaborative work spaces and mission orientated culture.

Learning is a great attribute to this culture and company. No matter where you are in your position there is always something new to learn. At other companies I have seen where they didn't want you to learn more than someone else, but here if you want to learn go for it!

What did you like most about the interview process?
It was fast! Other companies I have worked at require rounds and rounds of interviews and the whole process can take weeks (sometimes months!). At The Change Company it was 2-3 rounds tops and was completed quickly and efficiently.

What makes you most happy at work?
Working in our more collaborative workspaces and my amazing co-workers. Also, getting to work on challenging new projects!

I am happy knowing that I am helping the Loan Officers make dreams come true for their clients and helping out their referral partners, which then gets them more business to help us grow. I also love the freedom to control my pipeline flow and manage my desk in a way that works for me.
