What do you like best about the leadership team?
Openness in many ways, but also not scared of change, allows us to do our jobs and learn and not be afraid to make mistakes and own up to them. Could be more available and more transparent at times but its hard when there is so much change.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay is below market rate for the work and responsibility, snacks have been removed from the office, and all the new open enrollment numbers are more expensive. It'd be nice if things got better year over year rather than worse.

I feel they need to look at getting their pay scale, especially for their tenured employees closer to the market. It is such a sad sight to see new people coming in at times higher or equal than some people who have been here a long time. Sr staff should be getting higher pay..

What are some of the best things about your team?
People are committed to producing quality work and apply themselves.

We all work together so well. We complement each others skill sets well. And are always willing to step in without any complaint when needed. And that is just about anything, it doesnt matter if it is your job or not. We just jump in and get it done.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is friendly. Five word minimum.

The people, but also there are fewer people in the office to interact with and be social with during and after work. I feel we need to get back to some balance of office time and WFH time because our culture is dying if we cant capture that again.

I enjoy how upbeat everyone is on average. I do miss the days of everyone coming into the office and the camaraderie that comes with it but understand the world has changed significantly over the past few years.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The approach is with the candidate experience top of mind. Interviewers are thoughtful about the time ask of candidates. They also share a great deal about the pros and cons of working here at Nerdery as we may not be a fit for all. The team is also committed to providing immediate feedback.

Just feels good to be able to do a job that I am trusted to do and get it done and see the impact it has on our end users. And the pride we all take in the work we do.
