What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Dear Manager, it's hard not to be political when politics is part of our everyday life, even at Uber. Yet, It is highly advisable to stay subjective, to your job description. Respectful to different cultures and ideals, even if they are lower than you or inferior. An MBA does not teach you respect.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The meal station, the gym, the unlimited vacations and the wellbeing reimbursement

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher base pay in line with London's cost of living
I retrograde in terms of salary compare to my previous job
HUGE workload, medium pay, benefit is good
Removal of geolocation in relation to salary - talent should be paid according to their experience and skills, and not tied to where they live
401k match, work from home flexibility
What are some of the best things about your team?
The are competitive, so that makes me be better and have their same level of expertise
All are always willing to help each other
They believe in what they do and the value they add to Uber, they take Uber values to the next level

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They should stop looking at me as the national hire while they are the expatriates. This is Uber. And stop passive aggressive behavior, if you have a problem with my people I should not be the scape goat.

The way everyone wants to be better
Everyone is always willing to help each other, ensuring success for everyone

Its great to know everyone is approachable and the follow the same values.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
When you hire for race, skin color & sexual orientation.. you are hiring the wrong people for the wrong reasons. When you work at a company that you feel scared being critical at or with HR because they have a union and chairs.. then you will be forced to stay silent and keep smiling. Very dystopian

My work I really wanted this position
Helping my customers achieve their goals
I feel deeply connected to something greater, and it's truly inspiring and gives me a sense of purpose.
when I plug my earphones and start selling
The objectives I want to achieve. My competitive spirit probably.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Impossible goals put in front of us, constant pings, emails and texts from LT at all hours of the day, minimal flexibility on WFH
