During the pandemic, UHG made it possible to made most of their employees work remotely. This made my workers and felt safe, appreciated and valued. We didn't think it was possible, but we did it and we succeed. After almost 18 months, UHG is asking us to go back to the office, and that is wrong!
What makes you most happy at work?
Resolving issues related to work. Working from home. Break time and vacation time.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Very relax and convenient. I did not have to meet. Only phone calls interviews. Paperwork simple. Process quick and easy. Interviewers friendly.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Culture is very diverse among employees of the lower grade. It is awesome to try new food or hear about other countries and immigrants get along fine.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop micro-managing and discrimination against minority. We need more representation. Take more diversity and Inclusion classes and put some effort to apply what you learn. Pay attention and listen more. Mental illness is real, keep the environment relax to lower employees stress level. See us!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Unfair annual evaluation. Management biases opinions. Double standards. We want more representation in upper management and closer contact with HR. Compensation is too low compare to volume and quality of work expected. Health Insurance too high out of pocket of $2,700. Raise minimum wage and raise.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Enough with the gossips and prejudices. It is never okay to bully anyone regardless of their backgrounds or because they don't look like you or are not from the same place. There are enough space in the sky for all stars to shine. Don't dime someone else lights because you think you are entitled.
