This company used to be a positive place to work, but it's now a greedy org. Management treats employees like peons and lays them off with zero concern on how it affects them and their families. Senior Leadership lies and it's going to be the next Enron.

It's important to negotiate for the highest salary possible when you join Optum, as merit increases are typically below 1% a year and bonuses vary widely each year. Incoming professionals are often paid more than current employees who have proven track records and would be costly to replace.

Higher quality coworkers are being let go and offshore employees are staying. So much for "American" healthcare organization that's being run by offshore.
