Negative. The mandatory overtime, not being paid fairly is not right. The mood needs to change everyone is overwhelmed and there aren't enough people to do the job right.

Work life balance. There is too much mandatory overtime!

The mood needs to improve tremendously. The group was very negative.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The department took away our right to buy an extra week of vacation. They should pay you fairly for overtime.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The holiday celebrations were very nice and you were able to work at home. They also used to celebrate your birthday in the office.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
I never was able to meet the person who hired me. I wish I had had the opportunity to meet them physically but they lived in another state.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I think the negative environment needs to change. They are laying off entire department and work at home groups to avoid paying severance pay. They need to smooth out the process and streamline the job. They tend to make it confusing and hard when it doesn't have to be because of the metrics.
