My experience has been varied. While I enjoy working at the university itself there are good managers and bad managers. I'm blessed that my current manager is excellent.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The healthcare benefits. Compared to my last employer the healthcare here is much better.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to do work that I enjoy and being able to take pride in my work and accomplishments.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love the university's message and how it cares about the community. It was heartening to see how the university tried to spread important information during the pandemic and provide leadership for the community.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is fun, skilled, friendly, and respectful. We work together as a team that supports each other. I feel like they truly care about and respect me and it makes me want to give more.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture at the university is in general quite good. I feel that it's an enjoyable workplace and its goals align with mine. My current manager also tries to foster an excellent culture and environment which I greatly appreciate.
