More than the compensation, what demotivates me is the current culture in our team, where overworking is being normalized. And not listening to employee's concern becomes a habit.
- Frequent employee check-in, FGDs, Skip levels - They nees to listen more oftensq - Break the hierarchical structure where higher management should only engage with each other and not reach out to those lower to them
Our current team consists of 6 and I can proudly say that we are really a TEAM and in my 16 years, I can say that my coworkers are the most dynamic, hardworking and smart people I've ever worked with.
I was supposed to say the "work from everywhere" and flexibility, but with the recent changes, this is no longer applicable. So I would say the openess of the company to new tools and apps to be used as our reporting tool.
Bring back the option to do full remote setup to those employees like me that does not really need to be onsite. Listen to the sentiments and learn how to retain tenures and capable employees instead of just letting them ho and gonthough hiring process again
