Allstate: The company is more interested in improving its diversity statistics than hiring the best talent available. The company does not do enough to address cronyism and nepotism amongst management -- with multiple family members and friends being advanced in positions.
Jackson Hewitt: I failed to get compensation and hours that would allow me to live. I am still fighting with managers to be compensated.

He takes sides and lacks the ability to see things from any other perspective than the ones presented by his favorites. I seem to always be excluded and TOLD that I'm being excluded.
UKG: Great company and great people, certain vertical challenges but overall a wonderful company
Bell: Overall, my experience has been remarkable. Since hiring 14 years ago, my salary has tripled and I've been on several short and long term projects, all challenging and successful. At Bell, your career is what you make of it. Every assignment is like an interview, and remembering that is rewarded.
Gold's Gym: Management is poor. They engage in illegal activity such as consuming alcohol while on clock, doing nicotine patches in front desk, etc

Bell: I joined right out of college and have never thought about looking anywhere else. I work with meaningful products and with people who truly care about the outcomes. I feel like I have a reason to come to work everyday.
Subway: The work is very (very!) fast-paced. I personally enjoy it but it isn't for everyone. Other stores may be different though. I really enjoy the work and the people though and at the end of the day I feel proud of what I do, even if it's a small piece of a small picture.
Bell: Great! Bell is under resourced compared to other companies which allows for more opportunities to those that are willing to take them on.

Hot Topic: Not good. The company prioritizes profit over taking care of their employees. Managers are always stressed and overworked, and there's not enough managers to cover illnesses. There are waivers that you're required to sign to get around state and federal laws regarding scheduling.

Torrid: I feel underappreciated and over worked. Most of us feel that way I think and people are unhappy. It makes the work environment uncomfortable and stressful for all.

Teleplan International: I would describe it as painful. The supervisors and managers were great to work with. All things considered, the customer was patient and applauded our successes. The leadership team needs to be replaced, poor direction and no support. The real light was the hourly employees. They're amazing.

The mission of the company and the products (and the changes they make to peoples lives) will keep you pushing to be your best.
Bell: In >15 years of service, I've only ever thought about leaving twice.

RealPage: I was excited about RealPage and left an amazing company because I thought I would make more money and have more advancement opportunities. Technically I should have made more but RealPage has all these stipulations about paying commission so I won't even earn 40% of the commission I earned.

Bell: I have had a great experience, I've been able to move across and up in the organization for the 20 years I've been at Bell. I have not had a need to look elsewhere in my career due to the opportunities and the people I have interacted with across the business.
Bell: Great company, awesome CEO, lots of good leaders and teammates, plenty of meaningful work. However, I personally struggle to maintain work/life balance.

Bell: I like the overall challenge, but my company is lacking diversity (people of color) in management at every level. This perception is difficult to retain people of color. They ultimately seek advancement at other companies.
Extended Stay America: all the benefits are great
Bell: There's no doubt that this company cares about their employees. It shows from the support we get daily, the work-life balance, the laid-back environment, the events they host for us, the onsite clinic and discounted prices at the onsite pharmacy, I could just go on. I am truly happy at BELL!

Palo Alto Networks: Great until the wholesale change in leadership, from the top down. Now cronyism and nepotism dominate hiring and promotions. The worst appointments are in the C-suite and in particular, HR, top down. Employees do not have a voice - at all. Managers have too much power and too little experience.

Bell: When I started at Bell as an intern, I always knew that this was where I wanted to work until I retire.
Bell: Getting to work at Bell has been one of the most exciting career moves I have made. I get to use the skills I learned in the military and from school while learning a new and challenging aspect of my career field. The days and weeks go by quickly because of the amount and degree of work.

Bell: Initial impressions of Bell were "it's a poor, over-restrictive work environment where creativity is not encouraged"; over time Bell has recognized some of the work environment deficiencies and addressed them...but there is more work to do here.
Bell: The company provides a place for employees to grow professionally and is willing to work with individual employees to ensure a personal and professional life balance.
Strategic Education, Inc: Positive so far, there are certain things that are changing (IT migration etc) that of course have growing pains to work through like in any company but there is always communication about changes and open forums to ask questions.
Bell: The atmosphere is great, I love working with everyone. I am always eager to come to work to see what new thing I will learn that day. I feel like I am part of a team and that the team cares what my thoughts are. I am proud to be a part of BELL.

Bell: Overall it is positive partly due to the vision of our current CEO. The other part is due to the people we hire and their ability to be a great culture fit.
