The company/job provides what I need to live where and how I do, which I am extremely grateful. However, in my day-to-day role, I am not frequently challenged, and the red tape required to make an impact or do my job well is frustrating, and doesn't allow for the pace I prefer.

There is very little collaboration at the office. Many members of various teams have no idea/insight into what other teams do, or how we all trace back to our customers.

Folks need to put aside their egos and realize that we are all working toward the same goal. So often, ego will get in the way of moving project, and therefore the business, forward. Egos feed silos, and thereby lack of collaboration.

The red tape and politics is so thick here, that it takes so much maneuvering to move anything forward, that by the time you can, any momentum that you originally built up has been lost. Makes it easier to just maintain the status quo.
