I feel very lucky to work at Nightingale College because I am always pushed on how we can do better as a College. I like to brainstorm and think of ways we can do better at certain things. Also, I was hired right before the pandemic and felt secure with my job during the entire pandemic.
Everyone is so positive and always helpful. They treat you like family.
When we take a risk and try something new and it pays off.
They are innovative and always thinking of new ways to make the college better.
They are always innovating on how to do better and allowing access to our college in more rural areas whereas other colleges make it near impossible.
It is easy to get insurance premium reductions by being active every day and setting goals through our app. Doing this, incentivizes me to be more active.
We are all very collaborative and I feel comfortable around them as well. I feel like I can spitball ideas and not feel like an idiot if they aren't perceived well.
They are always motivating and open. I feel like if I were to make a mistake I wouldn't be scrutinized. Instead, we would figure out what happened and how we can move forward positively. I love my team!
When I see our learner's graduation pictures, they have that certain sparkle in their eye that you can tell they are excited to go out into the world and be the best possible nurse they can be. I think it's very fulfilling knowing we are helping the nursing workforce.
Even though we all work from home, I still feel really close to my team and feel like if I ever needed help, I could go to any of them, even outside of my team. We also make sure to meet up every once in awhile to do a team activity!
I dont participate in the health insurance or wellevate. However, I am going to next year so I can answer this question better. I do like the amount of PTO and how the company knows we are human and may need to go to a doctors appointment or pick their kid up from school.
