HealthStream: Our 401K is with Vanguard and includes index funds, which I honestly believe are the best in the industry. The match, however, is very weak and makes it difficult for us to obtain and retain top talent. The match needs to be re-evaluated at the executive or board level
HealthStream: HealthStream is a great place to work. The people are wonderful. We have some of the smartest people I've ever met working here, and they are helping us get better with our services and products. I'd like to see better cross department communication and at least a 12 week maternity leave package.
HealthStream: Company follows diversity and positive culture
HealthStream: Working for VerityStream has been difficult. Leadership is constantly shifting focus and often times has knee-jerk reactions rather than taking a moment to think through the solutions to problems. Poor/Lack of communication with direct team managers is also a problem and leads to a lot of confusion.
HealthStream: The HR team is fantastic and loves what they do. They are passionate about bringing on talented people who are a great fit with our culture.
HealthStream: My overall experience at my company is a positive contribution to my professional brand development.

HealthStream: The best part of the compensation package is quarterly bonus PIP goals. These encourage and compensate me for becoming a better employee and staying up to date in my field.

HealthStream: Overall its satisfactory. I like the people I work with, but our products and solutions are broken. Our clients know it and the company is not investing in our core. We have leaders brushing it under the rug and they need to be fixed.

HealthStream: My experience has been great. I've moved roles a couple of times internally, and grown so much. The culture here really allows you to grow your career.

I've gotten those things but was not allowed to grow my own team (I inherited a team that was not qualified). Challenging.

HealthStream: The company has a good standing in the industry, however there are several teams within the company that get left behind. These teams are not included in the new technologies' and initiatives that Healthstream is working on. This gets very frustrating, but the company overall has always been good.
HealthStream: I have been at HealthStream for almost 10 years. I work remotely and have all the support needed to do my job effectively. I have clear expectation on my job performance. I also have a work environment where your co-workers truly care about each other and management does too.
HealthStream: I was one of a few owners of a company that was acquired by Healthstream. They worked hard to welcome our entire team and bent over backwards to integrate us into the organization. The most important thing to me is that the upper management has delivered completely on all promises.

Improvement areas include improved benefits (401K matching, salary, health insurance, parental leave, PTO), a way to evaluate our direct managers during the annual review process, and a more transparent career progression path.
RiseSmart: I felt isolated by their organizational structure, stressed and inconvenienced by their demands, taken advantage of by providing my own equipment and supplies while being paid too little. The obscure rating system was unfair. Management ignored concerns. Clients were able to split the team.

Some depts have better leadership and more positive work cultures than others and that is something that needs to be worked on. Low pay despite high cost of living may ultimately lead to my leaving as it has others.

HealthStream: HealthStream has a wonderful, customer-focused culture. Most colleagues are eager to jump in and help each other and are not just looking for personal gains. Truly a team atmosphere.
HealthStream: Overall good, but the Verity Stream leadership tries to make things difficult by redirecting resources improperly or providing little leadership but complaining about what they own.
HealthStream: The good: Achievment, intiaitive, good works are stressed and give every employee a chance to shine. The bad: Organization is in a state of change and there seems to be a lack of clear vision of how to move the organization in the future. Makes it hard for each employee to find their place.

HealthStream: VerityStream has undergone many changes over the past few years, and we have all learned to pivot, but the best thing is that I know that leadership has a plan, and those decisions to pivot are on purpose and not haphazard.

It does take awhile to move up within the company if you are not vocal or actively telling your management and other departments that you would be interested in a new role. There is room for growth if you put the effort in.

HealthStream: When I am able to actually do my job, I am very happy with my day to day work. The unfortunate truth is that, for the most part, we are forced to work on other things that should have never needed our involvement. HealthStream: I love what I do, I'm proud of the service we provide, I know it's valuable to our customers and to their customers, so it's truly satisfying.
HealthStream: On the outside theres this culture glamour but once you're inside its another dev shop. Its overall been nice and see myself working here for many more years.
HealthStream: The mission and values of the company are strong and align with my personal values which is extremely important to me but turnover, poor communication and lack of leadership action make it hard to be excited about going to work everyday.
HealthStream: Healthstream seems like a good, progressive company with best interests at heart and solid growth plan. VerityStream division needs organization and a reasonable plan which is followed. Right now, VerityStream trying to push out results fast to the detriment of quality and employee satisfaction.
HealthStream: I consistently give my company high marks. I recommend working here to everyone I know. If I had to offer any improvements, one would be promotions - if promoted, we are prorated come annual review time. It's like being punished for getting a promotion. Another would be 401K match.
OutSystems: Great place to work, even remote
HealthStream: I worked at HealthStream roughly 5 years ago and moved onto a new career opportunity. Here I am today, coming back for a second time and a new job. I had no reservation coming back and know this is a company I can grow with professionally.
HealthStream: My team is great, but sometimes I don't understand how the work we are doing aligns with the overall goals. It would be nice to be clear on the plan so we could see the end in sight before we proceed. The vision for our work is not always crystal clear.
HealthStream: The joy finishing a big project brings.
HealthStream: Great balance between being productive and NOT being very stresfull. Very effective procedures and steps to fix problems quickly and efficiently.

HealthStream: My overall experience has been overwhelming positive. The work-life balance is excellent. I have met co-workers who have become dear friends and mentors. My only constructive feedback is around salaries. They are not competitive and I feel we will continue to lose talent if we do not address.
HealthStream: Overall I'm happy to work at Healthstream. The CEO is approachable at large events and receptive to feedback. The division I work in is very spread out at different offices, but we all work well together. When one team needs help, there are others available to help and that's the best.
HealthStream: it's been a good 3 years. The last year was very difficult with the introduction of a new product but it's picking up.
HealthStream: It has been great so far. I appreciate the flexibility and collaborative spirit of everyone. I do wish the health benefits were more comprehensive.

HealthStream: Overall good, there have been bumps in the road but I do feel like the company is identifying its internal issues and working to make things better.
HealthStream: My experience at HealthStream has been outstanding. Not only is my specific position a great fit, but my immediate work team and surrounding constituents are inspiring, collaborative and highly respective. I have a huge amount of confidence in Leadership and feel fulfilled by the company's mission.
HealthStream: I've been with the company for over 20 years and was acquired. The most challenging aspect was getting used to Sales Force and how HealthStream utilizes it.
