APS Payroll: This company invests time in growing the employee overall--not just for their specific job. I've been very impressed with the company's integrity towards clients and employees.
PEG, LLC: Capitalism at its worst. No concern for the home owners, just making sure the clients are happy so they can paid.
Widen Enterprises: I'd recommend that executive leadership listen to the concerns of the employees, but it's obvious over the past year that they have no interest in doing so.
KIPP: Exploitive, cult-like mentality, that does not prepare students well for life after high school.
JML Optical Industries: CEO gives the impression he cares about employees, but in truth is only interested in padding his already hefty wallet. An secretive and "good old boy" culture is why sales and middle management positions are a continuous resolving door.

Offit Kurman: Run by a cabal of old white men who dont see the link between a diverse staff and financial success if the firm. There are NO women on the senior leadership team.
Kinney Group: Literally the worst place I've ever worked. The CEO has zero grace and never seeks to understand.
APS Payroll: I love my job. It is fast paced and there is always something different to learn about. I wish I'd found them years ago. The friendliness of staff and the willingness to go above and beyond to help each other is outstanding.

Virtana: The company has drunk a bit too much of its own Kool-Aid and is not realistic about its market position, product value prop, and ability to execute. The new leadership team from late 2020 is impressed with itself, but the market has not garnered the same impression.

Motor Vehicle Software: Always impressed with how hard everyone works and the effort they put into each and everything they do. There is a strong sense of camaraderie that is difficult to maintain in a growing company, but somehow MVSC is doing it.
Nexstar Broadcasting Group: Low pay. Unprofessional compared to other media companies. Not nice to employees. Limited time off and benefits. Difficukt work enviroment.

Lucid Group Communications: Lucid Group used to be something special. Now, for those who work here, it's an untenable and toxic culture of blame and burnout. The leaders (especially C Suite) are laser focussed on money, no matter the cost to their employees and so many people have left or are looking to leave.

Markforged: They force you to rely on their software and customer service which would be risky, however the software and CS have been great
OfferUp: My biggest issue with OfferUp is the ability for people to leave an ad on the site for "years" after the item has been sold! This is annoying! OfferUp should be providing prompts that urge people to remove old ads. This then becomes a complete waste of time, with no responses. Do something!!!!

It is truly an opportunity that you will get out of whatever you put in. From management, leadership, sales, marketing, etc. it is hard to find a more hands-on opportunity to learn these skills

There's a lot that goes into streamlining and building processes, but it's been rewarding to start seeing things come to fruition.

Betterworks: My experience thus far has been phenomenal. What stands out to me is the attention to the need for employees to take a break daily. It might seem small to some but the perks are really the best that I've experienced.
MGID: Highly qualified account manager support, super easy control over ad placements and customizable ad units.
Aha!: VP of People is overly controlling and does not take constructive feedback. Probably the reason for all the attrition.
Crossover: In the beginning the company was FAST, looking to the best practices in the industry, trying to find a gold recipe. In a year the trend went down and nowadays, tremendously bad things are: workforce is squeezed and noboby cares about that resources are short strategy is doomed.
Crossover: The management team is good, but there are some radical decisions by leadership team which makes the working environment very negative. Almost every quarter you fear the job loss as its the best way for the management to show profit margins. We loose great knowledge by firing people randomly.
Crossover: It was good at first, but became challenging and more stressful when we had shifts and the 24/7 team was established.

Moogsoft: I have been extremely lucky with Moogsoft. I found this job a month after COVID related layoffs. I have been able to work 100% remotely and feel fully supported in my role. We have regular all hands meetings that keep everyone updated on all things new and exciting.
